Q. What Is God?
A. God is a Spirit, infinite, unlimited, eternal and unchangeable in His being, wisdom, power,
holiness, justice, goodness and truth. (John 4:24; Psalms 147:5; Psalm 90:2; James 1:17;

A. There are three persons in the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit:
And These three are one God, the same in essence, equal in power and glory. (I John 5:7;
I Cor. 8:6; John 10:30; John 14:9; Acts 5:3,4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
Q. How Did God Create Man?
A. God created man male and female, after His own image, in knowledge, righteousness and
holiness and with dominion over the creatures. ( Gen.1:27; Col. 3:10; Eph. 4:24;
Gen. 1:28)
Q. What Covenant Did God Make With Man in the Estate of Creation?
A. When God had created man, he entered into a covenant of works with him, upon condition
of perfect obedience, forbidding him to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil,
upon pain of death. (Gen.2:16,17; Gal.2:12; Rom. 5:12)
Q. Did Our First Parents Continue in the Estate Wherein They Were Created?
A. Our first parents, being left to the freedom of their own will, fell from that estate
God had created them in by sinning against God. ( Gen. 3:6; Ecc. 7:29; Romans 5:12)

A. Sin is any lack of conformity to, or transgression of, the Law of God. (I John 3:4;
Romans 5:13)
Q. What Was the Sin of Our First Parents Causing Them to Fall?
A. The sin of our first parents causing the fall was their eating the forbidden fruit.

Q. Did All Mankind Fall in Adam's First Transgression?
A. The covenant made with Adam was not only for himself, but also for his posterity, all
mankind. Therefore, all mankind descending from him, sinned in him, and fell with him in
his transgression. (I Cor. 15:21,22; Romans 5:12,18,19)
